At McDonald Paper & Restaurant Supplies, we’re always looking for creative ways to build stronger bonds within our team, and our recent team-building event was one for the books!
We were fortunate to have the incredibly talented Chef Alex, owner of Common Café and one of our valued clients, lead a cooking class on the delicious and sophisticated world of French cuisine. Chef Alex's expertise, combined with his passion for great food, made for an inspiring and fun-filled experience for our team.
To add a little friendly competition, we divided the sales team into pairs, each taking on a different French dish: Soup au Pistou, Ratatouille, Pissaladière Pasta, Fillet of Fish Papillote, and Peach Clafoutis. From chopping vegetables to perfecting seasoning, each pair worked together, learning new techniques and discovering the secrets behind these classic French dishes. The air was filled with laughter, occasional playful banter, and a lot of delicious smells!
The true highlight of the event was when we all sat down together for dinner, tasting each other’s creations. It was a special moment to share our culinary efforts, joke about our less-than-perfect skills, and simply enjoy each other's company. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bonding experience was priceless.
We want to extend a big thank you to Chef Alex for sharing his expertise with us and helping us connect in such a unique and fun way. We’re looking forward to more memorable experiences like this as we continue to build a stronger and more united team here at McDonald Paper & Restaurant Supplies!
