These are not versatile at all. They are big for the majority of sous vide dishes we cook and are too small for storing most of the goods we use. How come they cost 50 bucks? This is definitely not my favorite size of a vacuum bag.

I'm so happy I've chosen this size in the end. It is perfect for an average freezer. I usually store meat in them, but I don't need huge portions, so I'm satisfied. Labeling the bags is now easier because the majority of products are seen very clearly. You can always tell the difference between chicken and pork, for example. So, you don't have to label these. Other bags I used before dimmed quickly, and in a couple of days, I couldn't see through them.
