Stainless Steel Design
The char broiler’s body, drip tray, side and back splashes, and baffles are made from stainless steel. This material offers heavy-duty durability. It wipes clean, resists corrosion, and sanitizes easily too.
Dual Heat Zones
The Winco GCB-24R char broiler features two separate heat zones. Each one has its own adjustable pilot light and heat control knob. Combined, the two zones offer 80,000 BTUs of power. This is plenty for quickly achieving high temperatures and searing meat.
Back Splash and Front Rail
The three-sided back splash and front rail help maintain a clean worktop. They prevent grease and food drippings from falling off the sides and onto your counter.
Removable Cast Iron Grids
This char broiler uses cast iron grids. Not only is cast iron highly durably, but it also retains heat well for even cooking. These removable grids can be used leveled or in an angled position. Just remove and reverse them as desired. The grids’ grooves direct grease and food drippings into a tray to prevent oil buildup.

And I used to believe that only coal can give that distinguished flavor to a deep-fried steak. Good to know that it's possible to do it with gas as well since it's much easier.

Still not as good as frying steak on coal. I'm something of a perfectionist when it comes to burgers, and – to my taste – the meat always either lacks the proper flavor or burns. However, nobody else seems to point that out.
