It is made of EcoStar food-grade, post-consumer recycled PET, which is characterized by high clarity and durability. The recessed construction makes stacking easy and secure, maximizes shelf space and offers high flexibility for merchandising. A leak and tamper-resistant seal preserves the freshness of food and liquids inside and deters tampering. Once a lid is lifted, small tabs remain bent which alerts that this container has been opened. It is a practical and effective packaging for bakery, produce, salads, sandwiches, snack foods and more. Fits EV1-08, EV1-12, EV1-16, EV1-24, EV1-32 containers.

It's not the most affordable price on 400 pieces, but I love that the plastic has been recycled. As for the actual lid, it looks and works fine - pretty much like you would expect from a disposable item.
