How to Burn Candles Properly
Trim the wick to 5mm each time you are about to light a new candle. If you follow this rule, the flame will be even and bright, and the candle will burn to the bottom and will not smoke.
Candles should not be blown out, but extinguished with a special cap or lid, which is sometimes included.
The candle should be lit for at least an hour and a half. During this time, the wax worms evenly and gives off its fragrance. If you extinguish the candle faster, the wax will have time to melt only in the middle and form a so-called crater around the wick.
How to Store Candles
Store dining table candles at a moderate room temperature away from heaters. They may melt in a hot place and crack and become as brittle as glass in a cold place.
