Industrial Strength
The bags feature a durable polyethylene-nylon construction. They're safe for use in the microwave, in the freezer, and in boiling water for sous vide cooking. At 3-mm in thickness, these vacuum seal pouches resist punctures, abrasions, and leaking. Contaminants stay out so that your food stays fresh and sanitary.
Seals Out Air
When used with a chamber-style vacuum packaging machine, these bags seal out air so that your food stays fresh for longer. Your meats won't discolor easily or lose their tenderness or flavor. The bags help minimize freezer burn too. They also serve as a barrier between your packaged goods and outside contaminants.
Clear Design
These vacuum seal bags are retail ready. Their clear finish allows customers and workers to see what's stored inside. This will encourage impulse buying of your preserved meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, grains, soups, and more.

It is true that the bags are durable, and they don't allow any air in even after a while in the freezer. I use them from time to time, and they really save frozen food. I'm not sure they would remain transparent after long-term storage, as they got a little dimmer in a week. But maybe, it depends on what is inside.
