iSi Group is a large Austrian company specialized in the production of high-quality pressurized gas containers and related products for the foodservice industry. The company, founded in Vienna in 1865, now sells its products in more than 80 countries, including the USA.

The origin of the company was laid in the early 19th-century family business when Carl Pochtler produced the first soda water machines in Vienna. It led to the foundation of the Karl Fischer-Pochtler GmbH in 1865. The company developed pressurized gas technology for kitchens and technical applications, which eventually became the modern culinary business with CO2 capsules for soda water production and N2O chargers for the whipped cream, soups, sauces and foams preparation.
