Polyethylene Construction
The bags are made from polyethylene. Their flexible design is easy to close with a twist tie yet does not compromise on durability. They serve as a sanitary barrier between your tasty treats and the countertop or customers’ hands. Since polyethylene doesn’t breathe, these pouches also block out oxygen if tied shut. This extends the shelf life of perishable goods.
Versatile
Their plastic construction and 1.1-mm thickness meets FDA/USDA food handling guidelines. They’re suitable for use in the freezer, in the fridge, or on a shelf at room temperature. Use them to store a variety of different treats like nuts, cookies, pretzels, and candies.
Clear Finish
Their crystal clear finish is perfect for food retail and food service applications. They make it easy for customers and employees to identify your offerings quickly whether they’re sitting in the kitchen freezer, inside a bakery display case, or on a shelf.

I buy a batch of these to use at home - mostly to store frozen goods. Tried more expensive bags before - no difference at all. These are doing their job just fine, and the cost is minimal.

Heads up on affordability and durability of the bags. I am a bit concerned that polyethylene takes ages to decompose, though - it would be better to stick to more eco-friendly materials. On the other hand, eco-friendliness costs much, so the choice is always on our own conscience. Besides, you have to be careful when wrapping those bags up - they can unwrap pretty quickly.
